Good Afternoon,

I am struggling to find any information on a calculation through a castellated weir.

We have a weir wall 20.6m long with 158 castellated notches in.

I can only find straight wall or V-notch calculations in hydraulic manuals or the Internet.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

John

Looks like no one else is prepared to say anything so i will make a suggestion.

Can you treat each cut out like a straight or rectangular weir or whatever its called then multiply by 158. I am guessing that this may be the overflow weir on a settling tank or similar?
