Does anyone know what alloy is used in most standard carbon steel pipe? I am doing some corrosion testing for carbon steel piping and I would like to use the most common alloy used.

A106-B is probably the most used CS piping material (at least in the US) followed by A53-B.

API 5L is commonly used too- grade B for on plot pipework and X52 and up for pipelines.
