I am trying to produce a silencer baffle in carbon fiber. I have located a resin that will provide an operating range right at the expected envelope for typical useage. (420c) But this leaves no margin for those who might utilize the device in a more prolonged fashion. Ideally, I need to get closer to 550c. Is there a thermal barrier in a spray-on form that I could apply to the finished part that would allow me to approach those limits.
