The Pyle I believe. Pyle is a good company. It will only be 12V rated and you will be paying the leakage price.

The other one claiming "Digital Hybrid", no.

This cap party: I have them up to 0nly 30V so far. It is amazing, you can see the forming happening. If I raise the bank 5V it takes about 60 seconds then the current limit drops off and the bank draws 5mA for about 5 minutes slowly dropping down to about 2mA. Over an hour or so it drops to under 1mA. Cranking up the voltage another 5V and it all repeats.

I'm hoping none of the alligator clips pop off. I also wear safety glasses and think thru any connections in my mind twice before physically carrying it out. 2,400 Joules at 75V..

I'd say a setup like that has some positives and some negatives.

Wow, and you're doing that all with that wall wart plugged into the outlet strip ! ! !

Negative! negative!

I'm using a bench lab supply on a shelf above. It has two 50V channels. When I get to 50V I'll series them to get up to 70V. I might dash them up to 90V for as short as it takes if I'm feeling especially reckless at some point.

That wall wart is for a great sears electric screw driver with crappy batteries and that worthless wall wart charger. It instructs one not to charge the batteries for more than a couple of hours. LAME. So last week I of course forgot to unplug it and went home.. I returned to my office 5 days later!! The entire screw driver was toasty warm - a bad sign. A week later as I was cleaning off my bench to do these caps I gave the screwdriver a try and there was nothing at all. I plugged in the charger to it and then it ran about 1/8th speed. That's why that thing is plugged in. Now I'm wondering if I unplugged it before I left again..

Dan I suspected. :)

JG2828; Dang. That's a great idea. Too bad I think this battery pack is toast already. If I figure out how to repair it I'll do that.
