Hi again everyone,
I have created a part and mirrored it, but I cannot unite the mirrored body with the original body. I get an error that says, "Unable to perform Boolean". I am using NX 7.5, and I have tried deleting the mirrored body and recreating it, part cleanup, and re-associating Unite features earlier in the model tree, but none of these has solved the problem. I have two other very similar parts with the same WAVE links and similar model tree, and they can mirror and unite just fine. All of my features are up to date if that matters.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

If I guess, you have either a body ( which you mirror) which is "not as good as it should be", this can be verified using the Analysis- Examine Geometry .
Or, the mirrored bodies together produces a condition which cannot be united. ( In NX, bodies must have "common area" to be able to be united. - in case you have experiences from some other system where uniting separate bodies can be performed.)
Do the two have "area-contact" or "edge-only contact" ?

Regards,
Tomas
