cannot properly read STP file

Hello, I have a problem with reading STP files (from Pro/ENGINEER). I can see only the whole structure of a tree but in fact there is no geometry imported. I have Catia V5r14 working on windows XP. What is wrong with it??

There is no problem weather ur working with windows-xp or 2000 or....., Just check with the licences ur working with, u might not have licence for stp detection so the problem is.Just check with AL2 licence or ST1 licence.....,
