Hi,
I am trying to perform registration of an ASME Section I boiler with associated piping in Alberta, Canada. My question pertains to the CRN application process and rules for ASME Data Report forms associated with that.
We have applied for two CRN numbers with ABSA, one which covers the boiler package (all Boiler Proper parts) and one which covers the BEP and NBEP piping system (Piping Registration Number).
Our company performed the design work, and subcontracted all of the fabrication to ASME Certificate Holders. I plan to show the CRN for the Boiler Package on our P-3A Master Data Report, but it has no part for the Piping Registration number. Do both numbers typically get listed on the "CRN" line of the Master Data (i.e. can there be multiple CRN's for one Nat'l Board Number)?
Alternatively, should the piping subcontractor show the piping registration number on their P-4A data reports for the BEP piping? It would seem odd to do so, since they were not the ones who did the application with ABSA.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! If I'm missing information to properly address the question, please let me know.
