Can you change a part to a new template? 1

I have solidworks 2007. I am working on a project that has several downloaded vendor files. Is there anyway that I can migrate these to one of my part templates that already has my summary variables setup? I just don't want to have to go through all of these vendor parts and change the entire summary information for each and every part.

Any insight would be much appreciated.
