I am trying to create a connector and I need to make some external threads for a jam nut. How do you do this is Pro-E? I am using Pro-E 5.

Normally, you don't model the threads explicitly, just use a cosmetic thread feature. If you really want physical screw threads then you can easily make them with a helical sweep. I normally start with the major diameter and cut away material but you can start with the minor diameter and add material.
