Can I use Excel Macros as a CATIA macro?

Dear all,

I am a beginner CATIA user.

I am unfamiliar with writing CATIA macros however I am working on a project which requires me to use them.

I was just wondering if it is possible to write macros in Excel and then import them into CATIA to work as a CATIA macro (rather than writing the macro in CATIA)??
