Can anyone identify these parts? I know they're Vertek

Those are most likely rod adapters with welded friction breaks. They attach the cone housing to the push rods. The welded lip (friction break) widens the hole behind the cone to reduce friction on the drill string. Without the break friction will likely cause premature refusal in many formations(depending on the target depth of the sounding).
