Does anyone know if Algor V19 software can run on a cluster of computers? I was thinking this would be good way to speed up the analysis of large models?

Hi Phil,

We will be releasing a distributed memory solver for Linux clusters with our 19.1 release currently scheduled for the end of March. We will then expand the hardware platform support with our next few releases in 2006.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Sam,

I noticed that as of late supercomputer services are arising wherein one can run their application on a remote supercomputer to speed up analysis time. As an example IBM has setup their supercomputer Blue Gene to be available for CPU time rent. Do you know if Algor software will be compatible with such applications?

We are developing to de facto industry standards such as MPI and Fedora. Hence, ALGOR should be compatible with such ASP type of services as you describe.
