Does anyone know what "Quater Turn Latch C/W Sealing Cover" is or means it's on a print for a NEMA 4 enclosure. I know what the 1/4 turn latch is, but I've never seen C/W nor can I find the cover

It looks like "Complete With" in the image context.
I would have guessed clock wise without the image.

what about posting on electrical eng forum...

This is strange. We specialize in NEMA enclosures, and our engineers haven’t seen this before either. According to this acronym dictionary, some suggested definitions that might fit include:

-Compatible with
-Complete with
-Clockwise

Presumably you got the plans from someplace online and can’t ask the designer for clarification?

I seen the dwg, obvious; what they spec is the cover
any CW 1/4 turn latch + a cover, c
simple: contact a box Mfr or check catalogs.

In these days of computer power, CAD Drafters should avoid or at least limit the use of abbreviations. Where using abbreviations or acronyms, reflect the details in a legend, preferably on that drawing or document.

C/W shows up often on drawing

removable door c/w gasket
retaining screw c/w seal
and your quarter turn latch c/w sealing cover

I would have to say that this means "complete with"

It is a somewhat common abbreviation
