I have a 2-3/8" diameter internal thread that I want to follow the 8UN form. How is this called out in the drawing:

2-3/8-8UN
2.375-8UN
2-3/8 - 8UN
2 3/8 - 8UN
2-3/8-8-8UN
etc..

Thanks for the help.

Expressing fractions is OK but difficult to do correctly/clearly in some text editing so I suggest:

2.375-8 UN

ASME B1.1-2003 & Y14.6 apply.

Posting guidelines faq731-376 (probably not aimed specifically at you)
What is Engineering anyway: faq1088-1484

Sounds good, I'll go with that. Thanks.
