Hello, I carried out a modal analysis on a building. I am trying to calibrate my finite element model (ETABS) with respect to the ambient vibration measurements. For those I wish to use the MAC (Modal Assurance Criterion.) However I don't know how to get the vectors to do the calculation?

.

Hi
With Artemis Modal (Ambient vibration), I can extract details of modes shapes:
Module, Phase, Real and Imaginary (Attached file) in direction X and Y

With Etabs (Finite element model), I can extract details of modes shapes
Displacement X, Displacement Y, Rotation along the Z axis (Attached file)

How i can make the link between the FEM and Ambient vibration in order to calculate the MAC (Modal Assurance Criterion)

Thank you
