I'm not sure if I am looking at a situation correctly. So here is an example of what I am doing.
If I have a square tube that is 10" x 10" (100 Sq. In) with it closed off at one end and I have it filled with water at 100 PSI. Do I have 10,000 Pounds of force against the end plate?
100 Sq. In x 100 PSI = 10,000 Lbs.

Thanks,
