cable tray cover

When we have to install cable tray cover (to cover instrument/electrical cables). Area is most of time hot and sometimes rainy.

I meant when do we have to install cable tray cover? Forgot to put question mark. Is it in some cases or all cases?

Do not know the local laws and regulations. But,I use cable trays in all cases.

As cables rated for the weather conditions such as hot temperature or rain, the cable tray cover may not be necessary. Or, the cover can be used if any concern caused by the mechanical damage.
