C Band reception

I am currently using a 72 cm offset feed antenna for my Ku Band TVRO reception.So far I have a good reception. I tried to replace the KU bank LNBF with C band LNBF on the same focal length but I dont receive any signal. Would it be possible to use a 72 cm dish for C band reception ? Are there any tips that I missied ?
