Butyl Sealant Formulation Needed

I am looking for a base formulation for a butyl sealant. The formulation that I currently have has a settling problem and also needs extensive shearing to dissolve in a naphtha based solvent. I am looking for a formulation that dissolves much cleaner, has a shelf life of at least six months (preferably over one year) and does not settle. Any help would be appreciated.
