hello everyone... normally i don't do this type of work so please don't be too harsh... i have acces to catia but sadly untill now i've never opened it.
this is nothing high tech:
i've attached a link to a little diagram i've sketched that illustrates what is the type of analysis that i need to compute.
basically we have a form that rests on a cylinder, with two forces acting on it's 'wings' (think of some back pack straps perhaps?)...now, i need to find out pressure /force values (if possible in kg/cm2) acting on the area of the cylinder that comes into contact with the second body...
any kind of info that would make it easier for me to set this up is invaluable at this time...
