There are lots of choices. It can become complicated as the built-up backpressure increases from incompressible to compressible flow conditions. The Darcy–Weisbach equation is the most rigorous, IMO.

For compressible gas flow, which applies when total dp > 10% of the pressure immediately downstream of the PSV, you could use the simplified Dodge equation which is found in Perry Chem Eng Handbook in the Fluid Flow chapter.
the backpressure would be the friction at a certain flowrate... calulate from there...
