Has anybody had any prior experience in this material?
We have cast this part twice in as many years, last year we reached a hardness of ~50HRC, this year we are only achieving 44HRC (with HT).
We have to fan cool, as an oil quench has cracked these parts in the past. C% is at the high end 3.0%.
Any assistance is muchly appreciated.
