Hi guys,
Is anyone familiar with the Ballistic Research Laboratory formula for predicting penetration of missiles through steel plate?
I have been asked to evaluate the penetability of a high hardness alloy ballistic steel plate using this formula, but I cannot find any values of the steel penetrability constant (Ks) for different grades of steel. It seems that this value is commonly taken as 1.0, but I was wondering if anyone has ever used this formula with other values of Ks.
