Can anyone recommend a good bridge software for a typical one to three (continous) span bridge?

I have done some research and it seems like the SAP 2000 and RAM products are in the $8k to $10k price range. These programs seem to be more sophisticated then I need and a little out of my company's price range.

I would need the following from the software:
-AASHTO LRFD 17th ed
-HL-93 live load analysis
-Continuous bridge analysis
-Steel or Prestressed members

Thank you for your help in advance!

Have you checked RISA? Good and cheap engineering software, but I am not positive it has aspects devoted to bridge. You might consider purchase one main structural program, and add a few small programs with devoted features.

Do you envision working with prestressed concrete, concrete slab or steel girders? Steel is still used for typical highway bridges in the midwest and northern regions but for the most part the majority of this construction is with prestressed, precast, concrete beams. Thus I would recommend CONSPAN or PSBEAM as good choices. Both are fairly inexpensive.

For steel bridges, there is a program called SLTBRIDGE by Bridgesoft.

I did a search but the website was interrupted by my protection software reporting a trojan.

We've used STLBRIDGE in the past (a very good program written by an actual bridge engineer who knows AASHTO well)

I know the software writer, but don't know if you can more successfully get to them on their website or not (

For prestressed concrete bridges ---> CONSPAN

For steel plate girder bridges -----> MDX

For substructures of either --------> RC-PIER
