Chemical
Hello I am a little fresh to both the industrial application field of chemistry and to this website. I have a BS in Chemistry and have managed a QA lab in the petroleum field for the previous five years and have around 10 years relevant lab experience. Recently I have accepted a position to launch a QA lab from scratch for a company that imports and repackages chemicals in bulk as well as creates blends of there imported products. I am going to be doing small scale experiments and then move these processes to a large scale of 45,000 lbs in a large mix tank. I am not re-inventing the wheel, and will be doing very basic applications like taking Calcium Chloride Flake and going from 77% solid to say a 38% solution as an example, or cutting 93% sulfuric acid to 70 % in a 300 gallon scale. I am looking for any helpful suggestions or links for common products like (Sulfuric acid, Bleach, Ethylene glycol, etc) density/ strength charts, etc. I have done lots of reading and did not know if anyone could point me into the correct direction for gaining relevant information like this. The problem is I am finding either vague information online or several sets of data that contradict themselves.
