See attached.

This is an existing overflow drainage opening (the is no constant flow) through an existing 'enclosure wall'. They are now raising the grade for a bike path and now need a box culvert under the path. I'm looking for a good connection detail to the existing. I'm not sure what should be done to avoid corrosion issues? Or at least something to start with so I can sound half intelligent when going over it with the boss.

Thanks.

I have seen where a culvert is extended and the new culvert is a different shape, some bars are epoxied into the end, and then a CIP collar of sorts is cast around it. Its going to be buried correct, so it wouldn't matter too much on aesthetics.
