I'm performing a 2D analysis on my linear soil model, to which I inserted an excitation ( amplitude) as a boundary condition for my model's base nodes.
When I ask the time history output of Acceleration at my base nodes, the time series I'm getting for a specific base node is different than the time series of the amplitude.
Shouldn't those two be the same given that I inserted the amplitude as a boundary condition for my models base nodes?
