bonding sheet 5052 Al to mildsteel

What the effective adhesives for bonding 5052 Al sheet 1mm thick to mild steel shs with a room temp cure. So far adhesives have focused on the usual Sikaflex products and some Epoxy resins. Has anyone got experience of structural acrylics for such a purpose? Mechanical fixing will also be used with the used of monel metal rivets to assist with peel performance.

Could you consider using roll bonded or explosive welded aluminum sheet on steel as a starting material to be shaped and manufactured as needed?
