BOM Letters

thread559-215223 I'm hoping there's been some changes to the BOM function since 2008. Anybody know if items can be assigned letters instead of numbers in more recent editions of SolidWorks?

Answer:
No this is a current software limitation which has been reported to our development team with the enhancement request below:
SPR 471072 : Possibility to customize BOM numbering using non integer input (Customized list, or decimal number)
Please refer to the SPR look-up facility on the SolidWorks website to verify the current status of this SPR.

You can also "add your vote" to SPR 471072 at the KB, by selecting the Yes, but notify me when this is fixed. (SPR only) option
