BOM character padding

All,
I was using the SW BOM and was having issues with column widths. There is some "padding" left and right of the BOM text, and when you are trying to narrow a width of a column, it starts to wrap when it gets too narrow. What I was looking to figure out is how to reduce this padded area? I just wanted the columns edges to hug the text a little closer. Would anyone know?

When you select cells, there should be a box in the property manager for cell padding.

Gotta go. Time to get back to my padded cell.
