bolting compound

We are about to assembly some wharfside machinery and need to know a good compound to keep nuts/bolts servicible. Something like loc-tite etc.

Also something that can be put between painted bolted plates to absolutly ensure against corrosion.

For the corrosion resistance have a look at Haveolines Tectyl 501. I think it comes in spray can and also paintable. It is basically a wax treatment which provides high corrosion resistance.
 
The best coating system we have found is to wet install with ProSeal 870 then top coat with LPS3 (spec is BMS 3-23 or -29)
