Bolt Size calculation

Hi Everyone,

I have 20 feet long and around 3000 pound total weight of two pieces required to do bolted joint. You can assume 1500 pound each with square flange joint on each side. How do i calculate bolt size if i want to connect with 4 bolts.

is the joint in shear or tension? Is the joint subject to other forces? 4 bolts each or 4 bolts total?
