Can anyone recommend a source for bismanol?

Crucible used to make that, but not anymore. I don't know of anyone else who dealt with it.

The closest equivalent material is Platinum-Cobalt. Platinum-Iron would be an even better match, but that has been obsoleted (by Pt-Co).

perhaps the U.S. Naval Surface Weapons Center is able and
willing to help you.

Can you designe around it ? Can you describe the problem?

Thanks nbucska - I will see what the US NSWC can/will provide. No problem to describe; just looking to experiment.

How about just using Rare Earth Magnets instead?
