We do type 2 sulfuric acid anodizing. Recently we have spotted some fungal development in the anodizing bath tub containing DI water, sulfuric acid, liquid glycerine.
Got it checked from testing lab, and was told it is fungus of genus ALTERNARIA. Can anybody suggest some biocide for controlling it. Read some where sodium benzoate can work. but it is mostly used in food industry .Not sure whether it can be used in my application.
