My lab recently purchased an NCAT Asphalt Content Furnace by Thermo Scientific.
We had problems with this oven (burnt wires upon start up as some internal wiring was not completed at manufacture/assembly stage)
Replacement oven arrived with an error code suggesting the main board might be faulty.
What sort of luck are other labs are having with NCAT ovens?
Have had good luck with these in the past, so wondering if I just run into bad luck with 2/2 ovens having problems, or if these ovens aren't as well built and reliable as in the past?
Also - any labs using Troxler burn ovens, and specifically their new ICO NCat Oven, and if so - any feedback or opinions on these?
I'm familiar with the Troxler NTO oven, but don't know any labs that are using the ICO ovens yet.
Thanks
