Hello,
Could somebody indicate a very good and practical book for designing bevel gears ?
Also,as a beginner,as I am,could you please indicate the principal issues in designing the bevel gears ?

Best place to start is Dudley's book on gear design. Machiney's Handbook and any machine design textbook will also have some information. Check your local or college library.
