Best technology for micro holes machining 2

Hi,

I am looking for the best technology of making a long array of through holes (0.2mm diameter) in two metals (stainless steel and brass). Pitch is 0.4mm.
Those holes are to be made in the spray head which comes from the molten fiber flow machine.

Best technologies identified so far are: micro-EDM or precision micro-milling (the second technology only for brass).

Any ideas?

The fuel injector industry is split between EDM and laser drilling. We have both, the laser is better if you want to change hole sizes frequently, it's just software.

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.

Depending on the needed production quantities, I concur with dgallup regarding laser drilling & EDM. If the quantities are very low, then micro killing or other techniques could be considered too.
