Best dispersion agent for toners

Hi,

We are making polyurethane coatings . PU is DMF base and DMF of coatings are removed through coagulation is water. TO get black color we are using black toners. Now we need to make toners in home using carbon black. Is it suitable to mill carbon black,DMF with regular log chain PU which is used for compounding.
