BEND LINE NOTE DECIMAL PLACES

  • Thread starter Thread starter contour
  • Start date Start date
still not resolved?!

Here's your solution:

Interestingly, RMB does not work on the note in the flat pattern feature to bring up PROPERTIES, but you still can get there: select the note from the model tree and select EDIT -> PROPERTIES
or
In drawing mode, select the note, RMB -> Edit Value

The angle is dumb text (not sure why) I recommend replacing with &D# (the angle from the bend feature) then the note will follow the bend dimension properties.

Thanks for respond!

Sorry, I did not notised it before.

Unfortunately (and surprisingly) it does not work. I tried this before I place the post in 2007. Everything looks nice until you save file and open it again. You will see 90.00 as before. Pro/E is strongly protected against users.

Thanks again

I tried to use your &D# but I'm missing something. It
doesn't populate the actual angle when I do that. Can you
provide an example of the text from the editor?
Mine starts as:
{0:ƒ}{1:&benddir__}{2:88.71$}
I replaced the 88.71 with "&D#" but I just got the text.
I did put in the explicit dimension number, i.e.
{0:ƒ}{1:&benddir__}{2:&d234}
and it worked, but now I have to edit every note
individually. I would think there is a way to have it
recognize the angle the attachment is referring to.

When I update the print, it reverts back to the original.
So editing it is a waste. This is a poor, poor feature.
