Hello,

The image above (left) shows a Top View of a CT scan from a sample of esophagus:
https://www.google.com/search?q=esophagus

I need to model a prosthesis that will be inserted inside the esophagus and therefor it needs to be in the exact shape as the image.

The question is: Is there any way to do some kind of "free hand" or bazier splines shaping in solidWorks in order to build the exact shape as showed in the image?

I'm coming from 3D modeling for animations and new to solid works... trying to migrate to industrial environment.

I found that SolidWorks2014 has a new feature allowing bazier curves, so that might be a good place to start. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Roman.
