Is there any need that the bearing bar of Gratings in the industrial platform should be along the same line?,Also it is necessary that the stair grating tread bearing bar direction should match with platform grating bearing bar direction?
If yes please Explain what is the need for that arrangement?

1) No.

2) No.

Orienting grating bearing bars per your drawing is fine. Having the bearing bars span between supports is the important issue.

If the bearing bars are not serrated, they will be slippery more in one direction than the other. This can become a slip/trip/fall hazard if the bar direction varies in the travel path.

Sometimes I will trying to make the bearing bars span the longest direction possible in order to detail and fab the largest and fewest pieces. One piece 3' wide and 20' long is better than seven pieces 3' long and 3' wide. I'll also try to keep the bearing bars running one direction to make it more obvious for field placement.

I admit that this is probably overthinking it. in reality, you often end up with kickplate edges and banded openings so each piece is custom.

But, keep in mind that grating generally has different bending strengths and stiffnesses in the different primary directions. Thus, you must pay some attention to span lengths of the grating as you locate the bearing bars.

Our Client's project notes have a line saying "bearing bars of adjacent grating panels to be in line". I have always puzzled over this as well as there appears to be no reason to specify it.

We use serrated bars, so slip is not (at least less of) an issue. Bearing bars will always be specified in the appropriate direction for the span.
