Hello,
I am modelling a pipeline using beam elements and I would like to introduce some strain to the model.
I would like to introduce this strain so the pipeline forms a specified radius of curvature.
Can anyone help please.
Regards,

anybody anyidea?

Hi S0606
have u think to use elbow elements? This kind of element allow u to specify an initial radius of curvature...but don't forget that it would be stress/strain free! Does it helps?

I have been thinking about elbow but as you mentioned its will be strain free and I would like it to be with strain.
