BEACON is software designed by Westinghouse for reactor engineers. Used for startups and shutdowns, flux mapping, reactor suviellance. I guess instead of doing a monthly flux map, Only 2/year need be done, or so the pamphlet says. We ar thikning about inorporating it here at Beaver Valley an i was just wondering if anyone else uses it and what are the likes and dislikes.
