Base Plate Wizard

Anybody out there using GTSTRUDL Base Plate Wizard? What modelling assumptions are you making in terms of boundary conditions of the anchors, flexibility of the plate, etc.?

I have the BP wizard but have not used it much except to play with it a little. FWIR, you can have the plate elements bearing on concrete or they can be supported on anchor bolts with leveling nuts. I would give Rob Abernathy a call at the CASE center to get mode details and maybe a few example problems.

I think the anchors are fixed and the plate elements can be pinned at the anchor so the plate can rotate.
