Balloons and BOMbs aren't Correlating

I have an assy with sub-assy's and components. I have managed to create a drawing with a BOM embedded in the drawing that displays my assy tree just the way I desire it to. The kicker is, the balloon item number callouts on the drawing don't correlate with the BOM embedded in the drawing. My BOM only goes up to 17 parts, and still one of the balloons displays 23.

i ran into something like this yesterday.
r-click the drawing view, properties, then in the bottom left it says "BOM" and there's a checkbox. Make sure it's checked AND make sure you select the drop down list below the checkbox. If it's set to <none> then it still won't work. you usually have to select BOM1
then click ok, and rebuild. should update your balloons and table to be correct.

Does SW '05 even have the "Link to BOM" checkbox on drawing view properties?

I can't believe I overlooked that. It's amazing what a fresh set of eyes, or in this case, brain waves can accomplish.

Yeah I have suppressed parts in the assy but they weren't causing it. (as you might already know
