Hi everybody,
1)I'm having problemS with ABAQUS.I'm trying to define a clamped beam element with open cross-section B31OS. Both I-Section and arbitrary were used but in the output data i can't plot the BIMOM and BICURV variables (an error occours in /CAE checking the .inp file), wich are the ones i'm interested in.
It looks like a problem with the warping DoF (7) because it doesn't appear in the boundary conditions.
2)Anyway, is it possible to define for this kind of beam an eccentric line load (in static) for the simulation of a uniform torque on the beam???
If anyone knows this element in ABAQUS, suggestions are really apreciated.
