Aveva E3D automation

Hi. I need to make an automation tool for aveva e3d Drawings. to be precise to check overlapping texts and move them. But so far i could not find APIs for Aveva e3d, or if it can be somehow connected to python. I found PML macro language for aveva which could help me. But so far not much info on any automation fro this application. Does anyone know which programming language can automate aveva or any documentation on this?
