I'm planning to upgrade an existing automotive repair shop by building the lateral walls, office and restroom with cement block. I'm planning to use corrugated sheet metal on roof.
Are there any, besides local code requirements, general guidelines on ventilation, roof, walls, floors, plumbing etc. that I need to look at that I should use as preliminary plot plan to present to the city before actually hire a contractor for the project. All this info is just preliminary so that I can estimate the cost of this project.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
