I am creating a family table Wildfire 5.0 and want to automatically generate the instance name based on one, or more parameters; one, or more instance dimensions plus some text. This would eliminate the possibility of error when creating the name manually.
An example would be “HHCS 1/4-20 X 1.5 LG” where:
“HHCS ” is text, “1/4” is the thread diameter parameter, “-” is text, “20” is threads per inch parameter, “ X ” is text, “1.5” is a feature dimension, and “ LG” is text.
I have searched and been unable to find how. Is this even possible? If so, any help would be greatly appreciated.
