I'm not really sure. maybe a piece of equipment that digitally reads time/deflection or other pertinent data? our lab guys asked, they are looking for a less cumbersome approach.

The test can be done with a triaxial load frame, load cell and LVDT/displacement transducer. You can use a data acquisition system to retrieve the load/deflection data. But unless you run a lot of CBRs this is WAY too expensive to ever justify given the other costs involved in the test procedure.
